Sacrifice To Get What You Want
89Opposites Cannot Exist In The Same Place
The real question is what are we willing to give up to receive what we desire? Is it really a trade off? The answer is yes! A magnet cannot have opposite polarities on the same side. One side is positive, the other side is negative, it has to be turned over to experience the opposing affect. Positive and negative polarities cannot co-exist, they each have their own places away from each other.
Two Sides On A Magnet
Sacrifice and Receive...Isn't That A Contradiction?
Am I really saying we have to sacrifice to get what we want? Yes! This is not a contradiction, this is magnetism in our lives. We cannot experience poverty and wealth at the same time, we have to choose and experience each one separate of the other. To have and receive wealth, we have to sacrifice poverty, give it up all together.
Sacrifice sad to be happy; Sacrifice hatred to have love; Sacrifice anger for calm; Sacrifice fear to have faith and hope; Sacrifice lack to enjoy abundance; Sacrifice sorrow to experience joy!
There are many things we are hanging onto standing in our way of experiencing and receiving the things that we all want and desire so strongly. The sacrifice seems to large how can we give anything up, we need it all. We cannot experience the opposite at the same time. Everything is just a choice away from our grasp, if we are only willing to make the sacrifice to get it.
Just like the magnet, both sides attract things to it and accumulate more. No matter which polarity we choose, we will magnify it in our lives.
Sacrifice Versus Investment
Once we decide what we want it is usually followed with a plan. This plan commonly consists of the investment required and occasionally looks at the sacrifice in relationship to the investment. The resources we consider as we make this plan are our time, money and personal resources. Sometimes we see the trade off in that once those resources are spent in one place they cannot be spent in another. This is the investment with the sacrificial trade off.
The Investment - The Risk-The Losses
With any investment even with insider tips so to speak there is a myriad of percentile outcomes. The return can be 100%, 50%, 25% or even 0%. Any investment is therefore a risk at best, you can get it all, a part or wind up with nothing at all, including loss of the investment. This is the point at which we assess our sacrifice. If we invested everything and got 100% return it was worth it, it paid off. If we invested 100% and got nothing we have sacrificed everything, all we have is gone and there is nothing to show for it.
Our time is gone, our money is gone, our resources are gone...how did this happen? How can it all be lost? Going after what we desire with nothing more than an investment plan can work, but it can also leave us empty handed unless we have made the proper sacrifices and added them into the plan from the beginning.
The Sacrifice Plan Works 100% Everytime
A sacrifice is made every time any decision is made and it is a 100% guarantee that we will receive what we chose. Calculate the sacrifices as the investment plan is made, then we will know exactly what we are investing in and what our return will be. Each sacrifice has a north and a south, a positive and a negative they repel each other and cannot exist in the same space. By choosing one thing we have automatically chosen to sacrifice its opposite.
Calculate each choice what is lost, what is gained. Whatever choice is made, it will be magnified and attract more of the same.
Start Sacrificing Now To Gain The Things We Want
Make sacrifice the first part of our plan to get what we desire, before investing anything. Calculate what we are willing to sacrifice to get what we want, then invest our time, money and personal resources.
Now is the time to start sacrificing, there has been enough of what we don't want in our world. One by one let's start sacrificing war, hatred, poverty, fear, and anger. Give it up, let it go, experience the loss, the sacrifice is necessary to get what we want.
Now that things have been sacrificed, lost and given up, now only the opposite remains. We now live one by one together with peace, love, wealth, faith and calm. The majority is seeking these things, we just need to make the sacrifice and let go of their opposites to experience them as individuals and as a collective society.

Wonderful and unique way of expressing an absolute that many don't realize Emo - FANTASTIC! There are only two paths, positive or negative... Thank you for this :)
Like attracts like, we must be what we want to see...
The only freedom is without cravings. All of us should separate our needs from our wants. What all of us really need is minimal. Before I began earning a really good paycheck, my life was less stressful but I didn't have any toys if you know what I mean. Buddha definitely got it right! Thank you again, emohealer! You have sun fascinating hubs!
As usual emohealer, another thought provoking hub, and I'm still thinking about this paragraph. (Make sacrifice the first part of our plan to get what we desire, before investing anything. Calculate what we are willing to sacrifice to get what we want, then invest our time, money and personal resources). And I'm planning to implement the advice there-in.
Another great hub, emohealer. I was concerned at first when I saw the word sacrifice, as I think too many people are hung up by the idea that they have to 'sacrifice' the thngs they want and enjoy and lead a hard life to please their god. But I totally agree that you have to give up one thing and create a void and different thought pattern before you can attract another. Do you read the Abraham books?
Great Hub. As always you have an interesting way of describing, this time "The Law of Sacrifice". As with all the Universal Laws this one is working whether you are intending it or not. If you consciously intend it, then it does not sneak up on you. Having this one sneak up on you is not always embraced in the first instant! Think of the bankers losing their money - may take a while before some of them realise the other things they are gaining because their perspective was so out of balance.
All of the 11 forgotten Universal Laws according to Bob Proctor and Mary Morrisey -
THE LAW OF THINKING
THE LAW OF SUPPLY
THE LAW OF ATTRACTION
THE LAW OF RECEIVING
THE LAW OF INCREASE
THE LAW OF COMPENSATION
THE LAW OF NON-RESISTANCE
THE LAW OF FORGIVENESS
THE LAW OF SACRIFICE
THE LAW OF OBEDIENCE
THE LAW OF SUCCESS
Namaste
Emohealer: I have been focusing on getting things done, and its so empowering, it can be a mundane task, but I am teaching my mind to follow through. Your reminder to chose one or the other makes much sense to me. Its the split mind, wanting one thing or the other that keeps us from moving forward. Choosing to be positive or negative involves a sacrice to stay focused. Just thinking out loud as you hub got me tho thinking. LOL!
I'm with dohn and Violetsun--I try to keep it simple and focus on getting things done. I make a list everyday, and I've had to let some things go when they weren't producing positive results. I'm definitely focusing more on things I care about and love and sacrificing argumentation and strife. Thanks for a thought-provoking hub, :)
It's always good to look at familiar topics from a new angle and I like the way you grabbed our attention with the word 'sacrifice'. I associate sacrifice with giving up the things that give me pleasure, so I confess to having recoiled at the idea! There is more to sacrifice than giving up calories, however, and your hub has certainly given me some food for thought.
Great hub Emohealer,
Very good point about sacrificing fear for Faith & Hope.
This way you will be calm, love, have peace,and.....
Thank you for sharing
Blessings
That's interesting and a great way to look at life. So I just need to sacrifice naughty food in order to diet.
This is so interesting! Normally we only think of sacrifice in terms of giving up things we enjoy...to hear of it in connection with something we may not enjoy or need is so refreshing!
This hub puts it all in a unique perspective, great advice I can really put into practice, thanks!:)
Hi emohealer,
"Sacrificing" is a sign of wisdom, showed by God him self; He sacrificed his son to redeem you and me. For any success to be obtained there must be a sacrifice towards your goal, when you join as my fans, you will be receiving deeper articles that support your article on wisdom perspective.
It’s a nice internal eye sharpener thanks please.
I really enjoyed your hub and noted that there are many thing which we need to be sacrifised. Then only we will be able to get something.
Very interesting hub.
Really enjoyed the hub! So much truth in it. Thanks!
Wow!! Really enjoyed this hub. So much to absorb. Looks like I will be chewing on this for awhile in light of different thinking.
After reading your Hub I have a wonderful outlook for today and maybe tomorrow, time to sacrifice. Thank you
Ever so true. I have made the same sacrifes for the same results so I sense where your coming from.
Good hub, well said.
I would also add ignorance, intolerance, and campaign contributions to the list of things to start sacrificing. All of the above only contribute to the election of and continued presence in office of representatives who bestow bailouts upon multi-billion dollar, "too big to fail" bankers such as Goldman Sachs, et al.
We preach that to our sons who are just starting out in life and think they can have all that it took me and my wife years to achieve. You are so right we do have to sacrifice to have some of the things we want in life.
As I read your Hub and I sat back and thought about it I can say this hub is a hub of great wisdom! For every positive their will be a negative and for every negative thier will be a positive!
In my life time I have been a blessed person (Not that I am worthy of it by no means) however it is when I am blessed that I realize that I have sacrificed to others and God has blessed me for my faithfulnes. God does not bless greed nor does he accept lazyness God expects us to ask, seek and knock!!
GREAT HUB emohealer
I like this hub,i feel what u are saying about sacrifice to get what u want. That's something I'm experiencing right now.If u get a chance, read some of my articles and spread the word
Great Hub emohealer. I don't often use the word "sacrifice" to express the word "relinquish"; however, I've often pondered the meaning of the Tarot card 'the hanged man', as the traditional interpretation of the card is that you must "sacrifice" something in order to evolve. That was often worrisome, but Ta-da!..I see how it can be quite liberating. Thanks for the epiphany!
What a powerful HuB! I always seem to get what I need when I need it, and the concepts you write about are right on time. I am in a period of transition, and totally willing for the first time in I cant remember when, to sacrifice alot of things to begin anew! I so look forward to reading more of your work!
EMOHEALER, HI. IT IS THE FIRST TIME I READ YOUR WORKS. THANKS FOR WRITING!
I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT SACRIFICING AND I KNOW THAT IT IS THE WAY TO GO. JESUS DID THAT FOR US AND WE CAN STILL REAP THE BENEFIT OF THAT IN THE TODAY WORD IF WE REPENT. HOWEVER ON A PERSONAL LEVAL YOU HAVE REMINDED ME THAT I TOO NEED TO SACRIFACE A LOT OF MY WANTS... AND FOCUS ON MY NEEDS. BLESS YOU.
What a truly remarkable way to look at sacrifice. Thank you for this in-depth look at sacrifice. I am a true believer in that which is worth having in life takes true sacrifice, work and commitment.
Your analogies are mind-boggling. It takes one's great courage to choose the negative to achieve the positive. However, I always believe that it pays to aim high even if you hit a lower mark. That's a risk I always take- all or nothing. So, to end up to nothing, I must invest great care. There! How easy to learn those tips! You make me think, thanks!
This is great article. Mahatma Gandhi followed the law of sacrifice and non-violence in the India's freed struggle
Hi emohealer. Great hub. It came up when I was linking my hub about the Sacrifices Fathers make, today. I hyperlinked it to yours. Hope you don't mind.
I loved the article. Great job covering so many important topics about the laws of the universe.
Sacrifice, that's something most people do know and aren't willing to suffer. Thanks for covering such an important topic.
Great job! I feel blessed to have read it!
You are right in all you say. Such a great hub! This is what it is all about, SACRIFICE.
More great stuff here. Things we were taught in school that come in handy in our everyday lives. Good to be reminded of however, we do tend to forget these great things every now and again. Very useful Hub!
emohealer, Voted up, useful, awesome, beautiful and interesting. GREAT read. Amazing talent you have and a refreshing way of telling your story. I am very impressed. While I am here, may I, with your humble persmission, be both a fan and a follower? I would love that. My Highest Regards, Kenneth Avery, from a rural town, Hamilton, in northwest Alabama that looks much like Mayberry, my favorite TV town, we seen so much on my favorite TV show, The Andy Griffith Show. Peace to you.

That was great....and so true. It reminds me of Wallace Wattles talking about wealth can not exist in a mind filled with poverty and vice versa.Sacrifice is the beginning of success. Thanks for the piece it was illuminating
